From a Passion for Reptiles to a Mission for Better Habitats
RTHabitat began in a small British workshop, born from a frustration shared by thousands of UK keepers: the technology available to care for reptiles simply wasn't good enough.
Traditional controllers were fragmented — one device for heating, another for humidity, a third for lighting. Manual timers, constant adjustments, and the ever-present worry of what might happen if something went wrong while we were away.
We knew reptiles deserved better. Their health depends on precision — a stable thermal gradient, consistent humidity, and natural day and night cycles that mirror the wild. Even minor deviations can cause stress, illness, or worse.
So we set out to build something different. Not another thermostat, but a complete habitat control system — designed by keepers, for keepers.

What is the delivery time?
Orders are dispatched within 48 hours. UK delivery typically arrives in 2–3 working days via Royal Mail or DPD. Free UK delivery applies on all orders over £79.
Can I return the product?
Yes. We offer a 30-day easy returns policy. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be in original condition.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, plus PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Clearpay. Klarna and Clearpay allow you to split your payment into three interest-free instalments.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every RT01 comes with a full 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. If any issue arises within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the unit free of charge.
